Tavira, in Algarve, has turned into my second home.

The biggest advantage of becoming a full-time writer is that we can work in the most inspiring places we want.

The historic center is full of delicious gifts for those who like to travel.

The climate is hot most of the year. Especially the English live in Tavira all year round, but now in June many Spaniards, French, and Italians walk among the castle walls, the churches, and the streets with Muslim traces.

Lunch in the central square to the sound of a street musician, while I feel the summer breeze blowing my face. A bottle of sparkling white wine is drunk with fish from the sea and some vegetables while listening to the sound of conversations by customers from all over the world. If you ever read Ernst Hemingway, you know what I’m talking about.

For a full-time writer, this is the perfect panorama to get inspired.

The notebook always in my pocket to draft new thoughts, new perspectives, new strategies, without losing track of where I am and the importance of relaxing, contemplation, and observing people.

Being a writer is having the ability to observe details, but also having the sensitivity to notice where we are, how we see things around us, and what to do with all these ideas…
